a most celebrated life

ended last Thursday. One of DD's schoolmates died just 8 days shy of her 8th birthday from neuroblastoma. She was a warrior princess who loved, lived, learned everything that she could and touched every life she crossed.

Her service was this evening. I've never seen so many people gathered for one little life. Tim and Elizabeth comforted everyone who should have been comforting them (including me) just as their daughter would have done.

RIP Kristen. You've showed an example that we should all live by

Carol, I read your blog almost everyday, and this entry really hit home for me. I lost my Daughter to neuroblastoma 9 years ago, she was just 3 months shy of her 12th birthday. Sounds like Kristen and her were very much alike, and Kayleigh was such and insperation to everyone she came in contact with!! Kayleigh always lived life to the fullest and never let her cancer get her down, she lived with it almost her whole life.
On another note, what is the flower power rug you are 10% done with?? I have adopted 2 girls, 8 and 10 and they love flowers, and was wondering what the pattern is and if you could share it with me? Thanks and blessings, Dori
