a day off

originally it was a 2 hour delay, then at 7 am the call came in that school was cancelled :-D for my kids too though, so it won't all be a quiet day of knitting. There's plenty of wetness outside, in the frozen and liquid forms.. it's a good day to stay in and knit (maybe I'll make soup... yum!)

• Cooking with Anne Anne is a IRL friend. Her oldest 2 daughters often babysit for us. Her energy amazes me and no matter what there's always a smile on her face. Not to mention great recipes.
  
• Brooklyn Tweed Jason is an inspiraton in knitting and spinning... his work is simply beautiful. He is also a top notch photographer so you'll be visiting his blog often just to oogle at his things. He has a few designs available through Interweave knits.... great stuff!
