still alive

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth.... just chillin'

I frogged a lovely lambswool/cashmere blend sweater hoping to make the every way wrap from IK fall 2009 issue... but I'm about 70 yards shy.... c'est la vie!

I've started a sweater for DD's American Girl Doll for her birthday. One sleeve is complete. I had started earlier in the week but ripped it out deciding to knit it in the round instead. Now to figure out how to address the body of the sweater in the round....

I've been working on a webpage for my students. Perhaps you'd like to visit it. It's hardly finished, but i have some recording to do... I only hope they use it!

well off to knit a bit and then hit the bed.... So strange that Virginia and North Carolina have been hammered by snow and we haven't seen a flake! oh well.....

You are so smart to knit the doll sweater in the round. Can't wait to see your finished result. My mother used to knit for my dolls...really brings back the memories. Unfortunately with 3 boys I've never had the chance to do any knitting for dolls. Maybe some day I'll have some granddaughters...but I can wait....

happy knitting :)

Hi Carole,
Thanks for your help with Facebook, but I decided not to do it!
It was great though to hear from you, Andrea and paul
Glad to hear you are all doing well.
We are enjoying the girls. The older two are into sports. So we see a lot of Tamaqua games!!!!
Mady(5) we just try to keep up with her, and as you and Andrea know kids are priceless.
Thanks again-but you remember my computer skills!!!
email when u can!

Hello from PEAR! :) The webpage for your students looks great and so incredibly helpful!

Looking forward to seeing the finished doll sweater. My mom used to sew American Doll clothes for me when I was young and they were always my favorites.

February 9th is your birthday? That's my birthday, too, which is why I'm hosting the blog party! It's also Val's birthday (you can find her link below... she's a fellow PEAR blogger) http://goddesshobbies.blogspot.com/

I've gone my whole life never meeting anyone with the same birthday, and now look at this! Two birthday twins in cyberspace!
